[Insert sad, heartbroken narrative to explain the scene here]
Seriously, I've got nothing ._. Weeeell, I got inspired when I caught a scene from a movie last night. I don't know what it was though. Anywho, this picture is supposed to be a girl who was at a party (masquerade maybe?) and the man she loved told her she wasn't worth his time. Heartbroken, she left and wandered into the garden. Meanwhile, a boy that was in love with her was waiting for her to leave so that he could confess his feelings to her. Unfortunately, he couldn't bring up enough courage to tell her and just stood in the cold garden all night, listening to her cry. This is all graphite (mechanical pencil w/ a smudge stick) and I retouched the colour in photoshop. :3 This was fun and I'm happy with the final product but it took so long. I started at about 12:00 AM and finished at 3:40 AM. -dies- I was so happy when I got to bed though. >3< The background's crooked behind her... Blah. >A< But I'm too lazy to fix it. -sigh- ~Nana-boo made a sweet companion piece. [link]  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
